April Favourites 2015

How can we be almost half way through the year already? I'm sure you've heard it all before but seriously, if 2014 whizzed by in such a hurry, then 2015 must be The Flash because it's just surreal!
Anyway, I'm not going to bore you with a fact you already know.
Today I thought I'd share my April Favourites with you, a post I haven't done in a while, but I love reading what everyone else has been loving for their months so I'm eager to get back on to it.

(I also did a video version of this post if you'd like to watch instead of read - see below or click here)

Here are mine:

1. George R.R. Martin's 'A Game of Thrones' - from the fantasy novel 'A Book of Ice and Fire'. If you've watch the show then you probably understand and can agree with me that it may just be the greatest TV series brought to screen. When the hype for GOT got so intense, I gave in to the pressures of social media and decided to watch it and I got immediately hooked and ended up watching all 4 seasons in 4 days.
Fast forward to now, I decided to finally read the book. I was put off at first reading the books because of their intense humongousness but alas! I am a book lover and size cannot put me off.
The book is just TOO GOOD! George R.R. Martin is probably the king of fantasy novels for me and that's only after reading one book.
2.) La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - I've had bad skin for some months now and I've become really annoyed with it and so I've been trying to banish them with this cream.
I've been using it day and night for the whole month and my spot scars have reduced so much and the red areas on my face have gone. All hail to this product.

3.) Loreal Triple Active Night Cream - it smells amazing and leaves my face smooth and hydrated for the morning after. Just so much love for this item.
4.) Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara - I will be doing a review of this item in an upcoming post so I won't say much only that it's a girl's answer to those desires of fluttery lashes.

5.) Maybelline's Lash Sensational - So I may have found my replacement for the Maybelline False Lash Mascara. A review of this item coming to you soon too but let me give you a quick overview. It's volumising and lengthening with an eyelash curler.
6.) Gossip Girl - the show ended 2 years ago but I never finished it and seeing as it was available in Netflix, I decided that it was time to finally finish the show.
I've been loving the show maybe even more than I did a few years ago. The characters, the story line, the bitchiness, the fashion and most of all being set in New York City just totally won me over.

So there we go, let me know what you've been loving for April be it beauty items, make up, food, fashion to anything random like TV shows or films, etc, etc.

Have a good week lovelies xo.

  7. Lovely little round up. Gossip Girl was probably my ultimate guilty pleasure, although the first two seasons were the only ones that I really loved - things got pretty ridiculous after that!
